The bartender says to me this is a big red lager so I give it a try this is a doppelbock no doubt about it.Poured a deep crimson with a tight thinner light brownish colored head.Big mollasses notes in the nose with some brown sugar and caramel thrown in the alcohol is nicely hidden.Like the nose big mollasses and brown sugar notes hit up front with an underlying rumy-like flavor with a nice drying earthy finish that lingers.wow nicely done this beer is no joke its big and very flavorful but goes down smooth,Pearl Street maybe becoming a viable option here in Buffalo and it should be for Christs sake.
