On tap at the brewery. Served in a pint glass.
A - Poured dark black with a finger of creamy espresso coloured head.
S - A very intense aroma of sweet chocolate and some roasted malts
T - Very chocolaty just like the nose. Almost tastes like nestle quick chocolate syrup. Too much chocolate for me and the chocolate taste is very artificial. Overly sweet.
M - Medium body, lightly carbonated.
D - A good stout and true to its chocolate label but too much chocolate syrup taste and too sweet for my liking. Would not order this again.

On tap at the brewpub. Chocolate and some roast in aroma and taste. Dark brown. Very lacey and above average mouthfeel, covering up a sourish acidic mouthfeel. The chocolate feels added in droves from an American milk chocolate mix. On the sweeter side, and would like more roast.

got this on tap before a sabers game. 1st time i had it. the bartender described it to me as a chocolate version of the street brawler stout. the appearence was almost completely opaque black, maybe a little ruby colored when held up to the light. little bit of head that faded pretty quickly to a ring of foam around the edge. nice lacing, decent retention. the aroma was full of a lot of dried fruits. mostly raisons or prunes, a vice chocolate aroma, as well as some coffee, a little bit of molasses and a little bit of roasted malts. the taste was delicious. full of dark fruits and chocolate. did not taste like an artificial chocolate at all. i had to drink this pretty fast cause the game was about to start, but i thought it was the best pint of the night. medium to almost heavy mouthfeel. pretty drinkiable, i would definately recommend you try this if its availiable on tap, great beer.

Described by the brewery as a stout, so perhaps I need my eyes checking, but I'll respect their choice. Arrives at the table with a beautiful amber (yes, amber) ale appearance. An off-white head lasts well, and provides some decent lace. Artificial chocolate aroma. Doesn't have the traditional stout characteristics, in fact, it tastes more like a hopped up version of their Trainwreck with some chocolate essence added. Very artificial chocolate taste, which sits poorly with a hoppy finish. Mouthfeel and carbonation are decent.
