This beer poured a dark brown with a 1 finger high light brown head. The lacing was there, but only slightly. The initial smell of the beer was a roasted coffee with a slight hint of dark chocolate. The initial taste of the beer was similar to the smell, but with a more pronounced roasted coffee. The finish was roasty and did not linger. The brew had a medium body and mild to medium carbonation.

This was a nice porter that went extremely well with the Brewer's Burger. I'd have to say that I appreciated this more than the time when I had the Brawler's Stout.

Finally, this is better from Pearl Street! A pretty classic porter. Pours a very dark brown with red highlights, and a beige head that left sheets of lace. Roasty aroma with strong cafe mocha notes. Creamy coffee and bittersweet chocolate in the flavour, with earthy hopping, and a nice balance between bitter and sweet. Mouthfeel is a touch light for my liking, but I've come to expect that.

Stop the clocks - a Pearl Street beer that I like!
