First review so bear with me.

Serving type - 33cl Bottle poured into a tulip glass.

Appearance - Pours an opaque, dark brown with a light head. Leaves behind light lacing on the glass.

Smell - The best part of this beer. Definite smell of coffee with a slightly warm booziness. Notes of sweetness, maybe caramel/toffee. A bit of hop bitterness comes forward as it warms from serving temperature (about 45 degrees) to room temperature.

Taste - Not what I was expecting. The sweetness is more subdued than I was expecting from the smell. Coffee is present from beginning to end, and warm alcohol follows close behind. The finish is a mix of bitterness from hops and what tastes like roasted malt. Good, but seems a bit unbalanced.

Mouthfeel - Surprisingly light for the alcohol content, and seems fairly heavily carbonated. I think this beer would be a much more complete package with a thicker feel.

Overall - Good, but not great. It's worth trying if the opportunity presents itself, but I won't go out of my way to find it again.

Pours a black color. 3/4 inch head of a tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of roasted malt, sweet malt, coffee, slight chocolate, hops, alcohol, and slight yeast. Fits the style of a Russian Imperial Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with high carbonation level. Tastes of roasted malt, sweet malt, alcohol, slight hop, slight coffee, and slight syrup. Overall, good appearance, great aroma, and good body.

Beer bottle (33 cl.) purchased from Bières & Chopes and tasted in 2012.

Appearance : dark color, with tan foamy head.
Smell : roasted malts, with a strange note (medicine ?).
Taste and mouthfeel : full coffee presence, with dry hoppy finish.
Drinkability : a good beer in the style Imperial Stout.
For the year 2012, the brewery Fleurac will launch a range of unique beer brewed only once, with a touch of madness. A very intesting initiative.
