Beer produced through a partnership between Cervejaria Wals and Goose Island. Black Trippel with bananas and raisins Baru nuts ( typical Mineiro cerrado) and aged for 5 months in oak barrels that previously have been used to mature mining cachaça.

Appearance- The beer was a murky brown color with little head.

Smell- The nose brought dark boozy malts.

Taste - this beer profiles as a malty, but spicy quad. The alcohol adds the supplies the spice. I detect notes of black licorice. Overall, it's a little warm but pleasant.

Mouthfeel- The mouth feel hits the mark for the style, but is perhaps slightly thin.

Overall- This was an interesting premise, that I enjoyed.
