Brief impressions from a 33cl can in Kuopio, Finland.
Nice bubble show forms upon pouring. Khaki colour head with lovely creaminess and a great complexion. Body is a predictable opaque black.
Aroma is suggestive of cream, dark malts, and maybe chocolate. Roasted barley is sorely absent.
Taste follows the aroma. It's a generic shallow stout with okay balance and a cohesive enough build. I do like it, but all it offers are basic notes of cream, chocolate malts, and dark malts. I find no roasted barley, milk chocolate, coffee, etc. Somewhat inexpressive.
Texture is smooth, wet, unrefreshing, overcarbonated, and medium-bodied. Should be creamier, softer, and richer. And more coarseness and dryness would be wonderful - especially if they accompanied some roast.
Overall, it's a pretty middle-of-the-road unremarkable stout. I wouldn't buy it again unless I was jonesing for a stout and couldn't find something better, but you could do far worse. Quite drinkable for what it is.
