Appearance: Nyckelbryggerier's Dark Swedish Lapland pours a dark amber colour along with a rather tall and frothy cream white crown of circa 1½" of height. The crown persists for a minute and a half and from thereon it diminishes and eventually leaves plenty of lacing along the glass. The bubbles are plenty and visible but really small.
Smell: Butterscotch, overtones of honey notes of burnt malt in the background, simple yet pleasant.
Taste: A reappearance by butterscotch, so it's pretty sweet and wild in its bitterness while as the aftertaste consists of a heightening in the sweeter parts of aforementioned butterscotch (Yeah, I like to mention butterscotch - so?!)
Mouthfeel: Creamy and smooth to the palate, low in carbonation however a bit thin in the aftertaste. Personally, I would've preferred a it to be a bit more full all the way.
Drinkability: Reverberant in smell and taste, yet I still wish fore more power, more of everything, but it's a nice one nonetheless - and pretty easy to down.
