Black in color with a dense 1/4" head that thins but leaves a nice thin lacy head throughout the pint. Medium bodied with a fairly high level of carbonation giving a pretty full mouthfeel. Rich malty flavors of chocolate and dark toffee, with maybe a light touch of coffee. Very well balanced bitterness that lets the malt flavors come through, but keeps it from becoming sweet. Nice, dryish, long lasting chocolate aftertaste. A pretty decent pint.
