Tried a flight of beers at Blackwater Brewing and brought back a 32oz growler of Golden Wheat to drink later that night.
Pours fairly standard for the style, with a soft, yellowish-golden hue. Not much head to speak of save for a few flimsy patches of large, off-white bubbles. Aroma is pleasant with a nice wheat note backing some grassy hops and fruitiness.
Flavor is more of the same: fruity yeast esters and mellow wheatiness. Surprisingly, there is a healthy dose of bittering hops that adds a nice bite to the back end of the flavor profile. Mouthfeel is crisp and well-carbonated with a light body. Very refreshing for a hot summer day in the backwoods of West Virginia. This beer was probably the best out of Blackwater's Lineup, which unfortunately isn't saying much. Still, the pub is worth a try if you're in the area.

A: Very bright and sunny looking however there was no head at all.
S: Wheat and other grain aromas totally dominated this one.
T: Again, the wheat and other grains really take over this beer.
M: Thin and bubbly sort of like drinking champagne
D: Very drinkable. If you were going to drink a lot of something this would be a very solid beer to do that with.

Came out a decent golden color, no head or lacing to speak of, though. Not a bad smell, fairly crips, but very weak. Same with the taste. No real overtones of wheat/straw/citrus or anything I've come to expect from a nice wheat beer. Goes down fine, but not great. Worth a try if you want something light and unassuming.

Appearance: This one is the lighest in color out of the bunch, light straw hued golden crystal clear with a creamy textured white head very nice lacing. Aroma: Faint spritzy wheat very mellow, maybe too mellow no trace of any fireworks from a special yeast strain. Taste: Trickles with faint bready tones and mild sweetness derived from the malt, almost flavorless and not worth my time. Mouthfeel: Light and spritzy is the best way to describe it. Drinkability: Easily and mindlessly consumeable but I when I see wheat I wanna be able to taste the wheat influence this one is just not there along with flavor in general, but very clean and probably consistenly made this way.
