A medium bodied porter, deep brown in color with a roasted malt and balanced hops flavor.

This beer was like all the others I had at Blackwater, barely average in my book.
A: Nice dark brown color with an off-white 1/2 finger head which tried, but failed, to persist very long.

S: Slight roastiness coming through but pretty lacking in any other aromas.

T: Slight roasted grain flavors and it was somewhat sweet with a floral flavor driving the sweetness. Other than this is was very bland and weak in all flavors.

M: Very thin, as with all Blackwater beers.

D: Moderately drinkable.

Overall, just an average beer, worth a try but not more than once.

Appearance: Dark deep ruby with a nice tan head, leaving scattered lacing not bad. Aroma: Mild coffee and chocolate tones very nice and simple but maybe too delicate. Taste: Nice coffee esque tone just seems like a watered down cup of moccha. Mouthfeel: Extremely thin for a porter this one is watery in texture. Drinkability: Is decent no off flavors just completely unchallenging seems so dumbed down scared to make flavorful beers.
