Reviewed from notes: thanks goes out to jimmyk77 for bringing this one back from Nevada.

appearance: golden pale yellow with a 1 finger white head

smell: malts, rice, wheat, lager yeast

taste: adjunct beer, grain, rice, malts, yeast

mouthfeel: mild carbonation, thin body,

overall: it is what it is a very boring beer with not much going on. glad I got to try it though.

Cheers,

From 01/22/11 notes. Shared by drabmuh at a tasting; thanks Matt.

a - Pours a clear straw gold color with one inch of white head and high carbonation evident.

s - Smells like an adjunct lager. Wheat, grain, rice, and maybe some sweet malts.

t - Tastes of wheat and grain. Not great.

m - Light body and moderate carbonation.

d - Not a very good beer; reminds me straight up an adjunct lager. Wouldn't look to have again.

Bottle shared by drabmuh. Served in a snifter.

Pours a pale straw-yellow color with the slightest bit of a white head and a bit of lacing. After that, adjuncts galore. The nose is sickening in its amount of old rice character. The taste doesn't make this any better--it's just a bit of plain white rice and a bit of off astringency in the finish. Light body with moderate carbonation and a terrible finish. Not a good beer and definitely not something I'd have again.

Bottle shared by drabmuh. Thanks Matt!

A: This brew appears clear (perhaps a very light haze) and yellow hued with a half inch of white, fluffy head. As the head slowly recedes, it leaves a nice trail of lacing in its wake.

S: What can I say? It smells like a Japanese rice lager - slightly sweet, mild grain, a hint of a vegetal scent.

T: A mediocre beer. The aroma and flavor are a tad bolder than what I have experienced in other macro produced lagers of this genre. Even so, my small glass was more than enough.

M: Thin in body, with an adequate level of carbonation. The aftertaste is slightly odd.

D: Fun to try, but not particularly enjoyable. While it wasn't terrible, I won't be having this again.

Beer served in a Russian River wine glass. Beer is yellow and mildly hazy with a thin white head that breaks, carbonation and lacing low.

Mildly sweet but pretty grainy in the nose, almost a lactic aroma. Odd. There is an odd spice to it too. Almost vegetal.

Beer is thin to medium in body with a moderate finish. There is a harshness to this beer, odd flavors on the front and midpalate of the beer, again hints of lactic and vegetal bitterness. Harsh...not very enjoyable. Not a repeat.
