This is the strangest stuff. There is a little foam, so it resembles beer. I swear it tastes more like fruit juice than beer. Or maybe beet juice with a dash of bitters. Aroma is apple cider, maybe fermenting a little. Flavors of pears and A little bit of hop flavor, something more like walnut skins. A little tart for the finish.
If this was a sorghum and tapioca starch brew, I'd say it was pretty good. Label says it's made with unmalted wheat, rye, and oats, which is not exactly illuminating. I suppose this is plenty drinkable, but I have trouble with that grainy, plum skins taste. From the 750 ml swingtop bottle purchased at New Seasons Market in Portland.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
