Love the auld Scots poem on the side.
Lovely looking beer in my British pint mug. Amber body with an awesome creamy beige head.
Aroma is light malts, biscuits and light buttered toast. a little caramel and a dusty hops. Rye..
Sweet malty..even a bit of lactose? candy sugar, honey. Lots of stuff going on in the taste. Light rye.
Mouth feel is OK..lacks carbonation.
This is my 3rd recent Captured BY Porches beer and each has been decidedly average .

Look: Semi-clear reddish amber in color with a lively off-white head that looks great after it settles and leaves behind good lacing
Aroma: Rye, sourdough starter, floral hop notes, earthiness, wafts of toffee, and a multitude of bready malt notes
Taste: Bread dough, rye, and floral hops hit hard on the initial taste and are immediately followed by waves of bready malt notes – raw sourdough, freshly baked bread, and heated/toasted bread. Earthiness and light toffee become evident in the middle and closes with more bready goodness
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, very clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and a soft and clean finish
Overall: This is an outstanding beer. The complexity and depth of bready malt notes in this is quite impressive and that, along with the rye, which I am a sucker for, is really helping to knock this one out of the park for me. Not lost in all of that maltiness is a good floral and earthy hop presence as well. I’ve thought these folks have been killing it for years and this is only another reason to solidify my belief in that. Tasty and highly recommended
