Swingtop, "returnable" bottle.
Pours murky gold with a crackling, dense head of white froth. Retention is incredible for an acid-laden beer. A solid quarter-inch of foam for the duration as well as plenty of roped lacing.
Aromatics are pungently filled with lemon pulp, sour apples, lactic acid, and a wheaty twang. Traces of bannana and clove underneath.
On the light side of medium bodied with an extremely crisp, refreshing mouthfeel.
Lemon oil, bright acid, and mild grapefruit lead off the palate. A slight throat burn makes good on the acid promise. Barely a trace of husky malt with peppery wheat prevelant.
Finishes with plenty of tart lemons, clean acid, and a mild watering of the jowels.
Great beer and so refreshing on a hot day as today. Plenty lemony and the acid level is righteous, but not fist-banging.

Poured from Bottle into Nonic glass.
Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a booming fizzy white head that takes a little to dissolve and leaves a heavy layer of head atop the glass. The aroma is musty, banana, clove, sour peaches and lemon. The flavor is tart with some banana, clove and lemon thrown in there and finishes with more sourness. Its light-medium bodied with a fizzy amount of carbonation. Most of the beers I've had from this brewer have been difficult to finish. This beer was not. This was a fantastic beer and really enjoyed the sour aspect on top of the hefeweizen flavors. Definitely recommended.
