Pours murky and deep amber, minimal fizzy head. Aroma is sour, spoiled strawberries. Flavor is spoiled strawberries. Not sure if the bottle is bad or if this is how the beer usually tastes. Drain pour.

L: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a dark ruby color and a thick texture. There was an inch of off white, fairly long-lasting head. Average lacing.

S: Not surprisingly, a lot of strawberries in the aroma, along with some yeast and other fruit.

T: Tasted of, like the aroma, a whole lot of strawberries, but also had a hint of malt Belgian yeast, and possibly a little raspberry as well. Sour and a little tart. Definitely a lightweight flavor, but vibrant and enjoyable.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth finish. Light-bodied.

O: A very flavorful and focused beer. Like most fruit-centric beers, this one won't win prizes for complexity, but it is good at what it does.

375 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy reddish copper color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lightly tart strawberry, raspberry, green apple, red grape, candi sugar, light toast, hay, straw, light funk, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of strawberry juice, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big lightly tart strawberry, raspberry, green apple, red grape, candi sugar, light toast, hay. straw, light funk, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity tartness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of strawberry, raspberry, green apple, red grape, candi sugar, light toast, hay, grass, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of strawberry juice, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate malt sweetness; with a good malt/tartness/spiciness balance and no cloying sweetness after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth and lightly crisp/slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 3.5%. Overall this is a very nice sweetened fruit lambic style. All around good robustness, complexity and balance of strawberry juice, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours a murky crimson-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with strawberry jam, strawberry juice, strawberry candy, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with sweet and slightly sour strawberry jam, strawberry juice, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice mix of sweet and slightly sour strawberry qualities that are very jam like all around.
