Amber brown colour with a steady thin head of foam. A pleasant smell of yeast, malt and freshly mown grass. Flavour of malt again, with a little caramel sweetness and a nice bitter aftertaste. Ester flavours seem to be missing, which makes this beer a little blend, but they seem to have used the right hop for this beer, which gives it a nice citric touch. All in all pretty refreshing, making it a fine summer evening beer. I prefer this one over the blond bière de garde from the same brewery.
