Enjoyed on tap in Lyon Bière Festival. The best stout I've had on the festival. Imperial stout aged in fresh oak barrels.
Big roasted character with coffee rounded by the oak. It brings a nice vanilla presence all along. It gets better as it warms up with some dark fruits and red berries notes bringing a nice complexity. The vinous notes come with some astringency. The main attribute of this beer might be its balance. Good stuff

On tap. Really dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has roasted malt, a bit of coffee and dark fruits like dates and black cherries. Taste starts fruity and slightly sweet, continues with wood and dark malts and finishes with slightly bitter and roasted flavors. Medium body with medium to low carbonation. Really well made, complex tasting beer.
