750ml bottle from the brewery: This one poured a clear, lighter brown color. There was a bit of a fizzy just tan head that subsided rather quickly. No lacing. Interesting aroma. Some spices, peppery, earthy, some caramel, maybe a hint of cocoa. The taste is very nice. Just a little sweet. Some roastiness, cocoa, caramel malts, maybe a hint of fruits. Just a touch on the lighter side of medium bodied. A faint bitterness in the finish. Nice.

Pours a cloudy brown with a minimal creme head. Flavor is working pretty well here. Nice earthy body with a decent enough sweet tone. But that damn apple tone is there again (see the ambree.) Feel has a fairly full carbonation. Liquid is decently bodied. This is better than the last two beers from this brewery, but I wouldn't have missed anything if I had passed on this one. Either way, they have cool beer glasses; they're fully frosted tulips with their logo being the only part not frosted.
