Paris 3/4 2026. 33 cl bottle from MonoPrix, Rue la Boëtie, Paris 8e. Pink label with a black swan on the label.
Pours unclear, almost opaque, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but frothy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with a more subtle citric scent. Peach and apricot. Grapefruit and lime.
Rather strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and fizzy texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a tad watery. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
A fine nose but thin in flavor.

Large initial head which does recede to a thin layer of foam. The liquid is darker gold with a mild chill haze. Some minor lacing in the form of some wide streaks.
Darker malt aromas. It's as if Chocolate or even Black Patent Malt was added even though the light amber color belies this. A bit earthy with a moderate weedy hop aroma.
The "dark" elements are present in the taste as well. This provides some malt bitterness in addition to the black pepper hop bitterness. Still, this beer is smooth and not harsh. Richer body with a neutral carbonation level. There is a lengthy aftertaste, but again, it's not "too" bitter.
