Deep copper, no head. Malt aroma with a hint of smoke. Fairly clean taste with a lemon citrus bite. Mouthfeel a bit thin. Drinkability, yeah it's drinkable. Very uninspiring. I really expected more from the beers on tap at WVBC, as I've had their beers elsewhere and they've been very good.

Appearance: Copper tone with a nice cream colored tow fingered sized head lacing forms evenly in ring form with each sip of this German style brew. Aroma: Mild malt sweetness decent floral hops present brewer said it's around 40-45 IBUs. Taste: Nice balance caramel malt tones very crisp hop bitterness with a rather dry finish very nice altbier. Mouthfeel: Medium body smooth sipper solid carbonation can't ask for much more from a local WV brewpub with the best fresh beer in the land. Drinkability: I could defintely put away a few of these effortlessly, definitely a fan.
