I have to start by sayong Christmas Ales/Winter Warmers...not my favorite style of beer.
Beer looked awesome, deep amber with a reddish tint when held to light.
Small head, but lacing that stuck tight.
Smell was of heavy spices...nutmeg. Almost pumpkin pie like.
Taste mirrored the nose, heavlily spiced , although some malt shined through.
Pretty good in the mouthfeel.

I dont feel I should waste too much time on this review. I will give a brief description of this brew, just because I thought it was very poorly made. First of all, I purchased a growler of this beer after originally wanting White Out Whit. I was pretty pissed to find out the Brew Pub decided not to make WOW this year. So, in dissappointment, I poured my first glass of this Christmas Ale. The appearance is dark with a decent head, but swirling it in a glass shows a watery texture. The smell is like light hops with a hint of pine. This isn't exactly a smell I look for in a beer. The taste is very similar to the smell with a slight pine aftertaste. When I think of spiced beer, I do not think of pine. This beer has a very thin and unexciting mouthfeel to top it all off. It is smooth but where are the hops and barley. I feel that this was a poorly made brew from a Brewery that usually does better. Bring back the White Out and I will forget about this sad growler of pine cleaner.
