Made with Vermont maple syrup.
Pours an excellent semi-opaque brown, with nice head and lacing. It has a dusky scent, nice brown ale aroma with great sweet/syruppy overtones. It has a breat nut brown flavor, very full and rich, nicely balanced, with a great maple syrup flavor (not too much, but enough to definitely taste). It goes down smooth for the most part, with just a bit of roughness at the end. This is a unique, and great, beer.

poured for me by the manager as I walked in the door.I was excited about the new beer.
Poured dark brown, with a small head and lacing that held for a while.
Smells was sweet, grainy and a definite maple aroma in the mix.
Tatse was smooth, a bit thick for what I believe a brown should be...more on the lines of a red ale maybe,
Hints of dark, roasted malts with a definite maple note. Well balanced with a very, nice mouthfeel.
Happy to see Ned doing some different things.
