This beer was just brewed within the last couple of days. Served very fresh and cold. I can tell you that it's incredibly smooth. I had requested a Weissbier, and Bull and Bones has Sun Lit Wit. It has no bite to it, and an excellent taste.

First had: at the Blacksburg brewpub
Cloudy straw-yellow pour with a small but decently-retaining white head. In the nose, light notes of toasted wheat and lemongrass. Same in the taste, standard light wit profile, with a twinge of citrus zest and dry grass. Basic and not exactly memorable. Light body, clean, and about as easily drinkable as water. Not my thing, and a little weak even for the style.

On tap served in a mug. Pours a straw color with a one finger white head with staying power. Smells of a wheat beer with very sweet hints. Tastes like a wheat beer with a slight citrus hint. Carbonation is correct, and goes doen great, definately sessionable. Overall a decent wheat beer.

Served on-tap, this wit was fairly pale in color with not much head to speak of. The aroma was stronger than expected, and mostly lemon and a little banana. The taste was a little underwhelming, just an average wit, with not much spice involved. Pretty average taste, but fairly high drinkability.

Tried this as part of the Bulls & Bones Beer sampler....
3 oz sample
A: Nice looking Witbier... Straw colored yellow and very cloudy... very nice
S: I'm catching a lot of lemon peel and coriander
T: A basic Witbier with a tad more lemon mixed in
M: Light almost watered down
D: If you are looking for light and lemony this is your brew... A little weak for my taste.
