A-Brilliant, clear, deep copper with a medium light tan head that reduced to a thin cap and holds on strong. Leaves nice ringing lace behind.
S-Not too much going on here. A light touch of caramel and a hint of hop spiciness.
T-Surprisingly assertive toasted caramel and toffee with a hint of coffee. Light bitterness from underlying spicy hop notes.
M-Medium-light and a touch underbodied. Good lingering flavour and a pleasant drying finish.
D-An easily enjoyable, flavourful and quaffable brew. Toasted toffee notes really makes this one quite interesting. I can see why this is brewmaster Jim's signature brew---nicely done Jim.

Tried this as part of the Bulls & Bones Beer sampler....
3 oz sample
A: Dark brown in color.... nice head and lacing
S: I'm getting malt, hops, toffee and maybe a little note of coffee...
T: There is a bitterness right up front... slight touches of toffee and malt, plus hops...
M: Med bodied, and smooth
D: Not my favorite of the night
