This home brew formula winner was temporarily added to the line up at Bull & Bones in Blacksburg. It’s a golden brown colored barleywine with a slightly tanned, modest head and excellent lace striations. The aroma gives a mild herbal hop over caramel malt. Okay. The flavor brings a caramel maple blend with sweet grass hops and brown bread ideas. A little on the thin side with peppery carbonation, medium bodied or better. Very decent and worth a try. I would easily drink again.
