On nitro-tap at Revolution Brewing (It's been a couple of weeks and memory is fading, but I wanted to write a review):
A: A nice two-finger head from the nitro, a deep, almost cola brown body.
S: Not too much beyond a slightly toasted breadiness, with faint nuttiness after a while.
T: Really smooth maltiness, not too sweet, but definitely not bitter. Absolutely no alcohol detected, just sweet grain goodness.
M: Very smooth and easy to drink.
D: I tried all 4 beers on tap at the brewery while I was there, and this was what I would keep going back to (although all were good). Would like to have it without the nitro, but alas, Paonia is not an easy place to get back to very often.
I'm not able to write a BeerFly review for Revolution, but I went there on a whim while traveling in western Colorado for business. The tasting room (old church) was really cool and lowkey. I loved the back yard, and it was really like visiting friends who made good beer. The owners/staff were all friendly and willing to share the story of how the church became the brewery (although it's now being brewed in the old laundromat). So definitely visit Revolution if you are anywhere near Paonia for good beer and nice people.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
