On tap:
Pours a burnt orange, mostly clear, and with a nice head. Receding head forms a medium color mixing foam and big bubbles - somewhat soapy. Nice lacing.
Nose has a cereal maltiness. It's not sweet, butbthe orangish hop notes bring about a nice, mild tea impression. Floral to slightly earthy.
Feel is spot on medium to just lighter than that. Carbonation is subdued but nicely prickly.
An earthy base that has enough malt sweetness to balance the citrusy hops that come mid-taste. This beer stays balanced and I can note the malt grain if I focus on that. I get the floral citrus hops if I focus on that. I get an enjoyable beer either way.
