9/17/18 (Milwaukee): $6.37 .4L mug draft pour at Water Street Brewery. Light golden pour with nice carbonation and light white head, faint malt with light honey aroma. Light honey taste, carbonation holds, clean crisp. Overall OK pour.

Not much hop. Slight diacetyl, pale straw, brilliant, white quickly dissipating head, light body, effervescent, some apple, slightly sweet, touch of honey, overall: bland

A - Poured a clear, golden-yellow color with a good dose of carbonation. It had a small, white head that did not last long and left little to no lace.

S - It smelled of grains, caramel and touches of honey.

T - This was a pretty sweet lager. The honey flavor is clearly present but not overpowering. It has a very faint grassy hop bite with a caramel backbone.

M - It was crisp and smooth but a little thin. A very light, very easy -drinking lager.

D - This is an okay beer for what it is. I'm sure light beer drinkers turn to this when they come into Water Street.

8 oz tap pour into an American Tumbler at Water Street Brewery

A - Very pale straw yellow with no action. A bright white head rose up quickly but dropped to a thin layer with no lacing.

S - A husky-graininess is slightly masked by pale malts but more so by a sweet honey syrup nose. No hop aroma. A buttery hint on the nose too...not good.

T - Sweet honey with a not-so-good strong buttery taste [I asked the bartender and the tap lines are cleaned every week]. Don't remember the butter flavor being there before but it is what it is now. Low level grains and no hops. Pale malts in the background.

M - Crisp and light with a harsh carbonation bite to the finish. Lingering sweetness from the honey.

D - I'll have to come back and see if there's a difference in quality but it's not awful tasting, just not right. Pretty drinkable otherwise.

had this at summerfest served in a beautiful plastic cup. this was a hazy straw in color with a nice creamy head. could not detect much in the nose, maybe some subtle notes of sweet malt, honey, and flowers. taste was a light sweetness balanced more by the carbonation as hops were definitely in the background in this one. light in body, somehow manages to finish relatively crisp. a nice sessionable beer to have at a huge summer festival, and only 50 cents more than bmc.

Sampled Christmas eve at the brewery. The beer poured off tap a yellow color wtih no head, looking a little like a macro to me. The nose was honey sweetness and not much more. Just okay. The flavor was not too bad at all. Good sweetness from the honey and a very light bit of the lager flavors I don't like. Overall an enjoyable flavor. The feel was actually a really nice moderate, not as thin as I was expecting. Overall, this would be a nice beer to enjoy on a warm summer day. I think for a light beer, they did well with this one.
