Comes in between the yellow and orange spectrum, leans yellow. 1/3" white head. Aroma leaned honey toasted pale malt more than it did hops.
Taste was equal parts english mild and pale ale. Smooth, not too bitter, not much if any hop flavors. A step up from Miller Lite, but on Water Street, taste is not a quality many are going after.

Had on tap at the brewpub. Pours brilliant gold. Faint aromas, not very hoppy on either the palate or the nose. Slight fruit on both. Easy to drink but not a lot of character, pedestrian.

S - Pine, some citrus, some bitterness and a light sweetness.
T - Some pine and floral notes come through from the hops with some very subdued citrus. A very good bitterness with a slight caramel sweetness in background. Somewhat plain.
Light to medium body; medium carbonation.

Had this on tab at the Water Street Brewpub on my way back from a brewers game. Decent appearance, kinda underwhelming taste and smell, nothing offensive about the mouthfeel. Passable, but in no way noteworthy. Would not recommend, except over the other choices offered at the restaurant.

A - Clear, dark amber color; small head (less than a pinky-finger). Good retention and thin but decent lace.
S - Somewhat slight aroma; It didn't really hit me.
T - Good hop bite for an APA yet still mild.
M - Sharp, yet seemed a little thin too.
O - This is a goodpale ale.

This was my favorite of their beers. A standard looking dark yellow, light amber appearance. Below average head, retention, lace. Aroma was a little sweet, mildly citrus. Very mild.
The taste was restrained and mild as to its hop profile, doesn't seem to involve any dry hopping, minimal bitterness, but still enjoyable. Not challenging, not pretentious, just a standard Midwest pale.

Big mug (16-18oz) at The Historic Turner restaurant.
A - Poured a clear, fairly dark amber color with a thick, one-finger head of foam. Good retention and some decent lace.
S - It smelled of bready malts with a grassy/citrus hop aroma.
T - Good malty APA with a mild hop bite. Some citrus flavors and a touch of grass.
M - It was crisp and sharp, but at times seemed a little thin for a pale ale. Otherwise, it is a light to medium-bodied beer.
D - This is an okay pale ale. It is one of the better brews I've had from Water Street.

12 oz tap-pour into an American Tumbler pint at the Water Street brewery.
A - It pours a strongly carbonated partially hazy orangeish amber color. Good solid cream head with good retention. Lots of lacing all the way down the pint!
S - The aroma is instantly hoppy and pleasuring with a good citric nose and a touch of pine. Good malt backbone, it's one of their better beers so far.
T - The flavor is disappointing after the aroma. Light and crisp with half the hoppiness the nose promises. The malt backbone is solid at the start but the whole beer seems to trail off at the end as it gets thin.
M - The feel is thin and watery but somehow close to medium in body. The finish is dry with a staying light bitterness.
D - It's one of their better beers but could still use some work. It begins falling apart towards the end. Decent for an all-night session beer but only when you're preoccupied with a game or conversation.

Taste: pretty much the same as the aroma, but it has a much more biscuit flavor to it. Very bready.
Mouthfeel: somewhat smooth. Light to medium bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. Ends with an english biscuit aftertaste.
Overall, it is a decent pale, nothing to go crazy about, but I am glad I got to try it. Thanks to schells - Jared, for sharing this one.

I thought this beer was slightly floral and had a medium amount of hop bitterness. Rather refreshing, and definitely better than most APAs I've had.
The beer had a very attractive appearance in a dimpled pint mug, with dark amber color and abundant head. Aroma was somewhat floral. Taste was slighly floral with a medium amount of dry hop bitterness (neither piney nor citrusy). Mouthfeel was dry and crisp, and not at all sticky. Pretty good.
