Pours fairly clear gold with an orange tinge, medium body, medium carbonation, rich malt, some slight caramel to toffee, not much hops, drinkable but not special – clean, smooth and crisp.

Pours a nice white foamy head with a dark red with orangery hue. Smells awesome. Lots of Carmel smell mixing with malts. I hope it tastes as good as it smells. It does Carmel malty goodness with a thin mouthfeel. The watery finish hurts it.

Out for a fish fry with the wife and kids. This brew arrived in a nice glass stein.
A) Pretty nice looking bronze with a slight haze. A full finger of off white head. The head dissolved pretty quickly. No lacing noted.
S) Decent aroma, not very strong. Mostly malt, grain and a slight sweetness.
T) Tastes of toasty malt goodness, hint of caramel sweetness, touch of hops, nice an earthy.
M) Medium body, right amount of carbonation. Crisp and smooth. Slightly dry finish. Nice aftertaste.
O) Tried a few samples before deciding to go with the Oktoberfest. Glad I did. It's was pretty darn good and went well with the fish fry, which also wasn't to shabby. The kids behaved, so all in all this was a success.

A: light brown, hint of amber, no head and lacing absent
S: light sweet malt, hint of roasted
T: mild sweet malt with muted roasted bread-like overall, dash of earthiness.
M- light/medium body, ok carbonation/seemed almost a little flat, dry finish
D: This was not a very good Oktoberfest. Seemed a little watered down and needed some more carbonation. When visiting this brewery, a newbie may enjoy this brew, but the seasoned Oktoberfest/beer geek will be disappointed. My wife loves Oktoberfest beers, she is not really a beer drinker; she agreed this was a bit weak.
