A very attractive beer when poured from the nitro tap. Frothy brown with deep depthcharge bubbles rising to the top. Big creamy head. Unfortunately that was the best thing about this beer.
The smell was minimal. Minor nutty notes detected. That is about all.
Taste was thin and slightly watery with a light malty characteristic and some dry nutty notes.
Mouthfeel was thin and didn't feel like beer.
I suppose I would drink this again if it were offered versus bud, but that is about the best I can say.
The bartender told me that the brewmaster said it should taste like a scotch and soda. He got the watery part right, but that is about it.
