Slight malt aroma with faint hops, some dark malt flavors, a little toffee, medium high carbonation, medium to medium light body, but nothing special, light amber color, clear.

Had a few of these while dining out recently. Served in a pint glass.
A: Mostly clear "amber" gold. About a fingers worth of white head. Solid retention. Modest lace.
S: Light caramel malt with hints of bread crust and earthy grains. Not exactly powerful in the nose.
T: Much more of the malty sweetness comes through in the flavor. Bready, light grains, and just a hint of hops in the finish.
M: Medium to light body. Moderate bite of carbonation.
D: Super drinkable if not the most flavorful. Just enough sweetness to keep me interested. I ordered four of them. If that doesn't speak to "drinkability" than I don't know what does.

Sampled 10/10/2010 at the brewpub.
Pours lighter than your average amber, mostly clear, white head, some lacing and retention.
Aroma is caramel, ever so slightly chocolatey, and a little boozy.
Flavor is light, sweet, caramel, lightly hoppy, medium bittered (accentuated by CO2 presence), a bit chocolatey, and just the tiniest bit of roast.
Body is light as is drinkability.

8 oz tap pour at Water Street Brewery into an American Tumbler.
A - Pretty light in color for an amber. Clear light amber golden yellow in color. Pours with a big two-finger, off-white head. Medium retention with bits of lacing.
S - Mild underlying sweetness with a toasty caramel malt aroma. A kiss of hops but a bit light for an amber. Muted aroma overall.
T - The lack of hops in the nose is slightly made up for in the flavor. Toasty caramel malts in the background with a plain, floral hop aroma. Finishes dry and very mildly bitter.
M - Light-bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Thin for an amber and a bit watery.
D - Easily drinkable as a session beer but just a mediocre beer overall.

Served a clear deep brownish amber in color with a thin off-white head. Light aroma consisted of toasted biscuit and caramel. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and crisp. Flavors of caramel malt dominate the palate upfront. Hop bitterness quickly cuts the sweetness and carries well into the finish where a hearty grain flavor leaves a final impression. A very solid and enjoyable amber.

They mixed up my order and gave me the amber instead of the pale ale. I'm 90% certain about this, so I'm putting the review under amber. The beer is a cloudy red amber with only a slight aroma of citrus hops and grain. The taste is mostly caramel malt and only medium hops which fits with the amber ale. A good amber ale, but not what I was in the mood for.
