Pours black with lasting head. Lacing sticks.
The smell is of coffee with pine.
The taste is of roasted coffee, sweet chocolate and pine. Finish doesn't last long.
The feel is on the watery/thin side, but holds together.
A hoppy dark ale that leans on the mild side. Hop character not strong but adds a piney character to the dark malts. A bit thin, as mentioned, but worthy enough to enjoy!

16oz draft enjoyed at the Wisconsin Summerfest 2013
pours like a really dark root beer. smell is a splice of roasted chocolate malts and dank piney hops. taste follows with bitter grassy hops and toasty malts. carbonation is good, feel could be a little more full.
