on tap at the bicycle cafe. pours clear amber color with a small off white head that fades fast. smells like bitter hops, english red malts, and caramel malts of various roast levels. the flavor is quite hoppy, oily, citrus concentrate. very intense. mild malt backing and a funny boozy aftertaste. feel isnt great, a touch thin on the body lets the bitter hops hang around too long, and the carbonation is average. overall a bold big red ipa, but not in good proportion. i think this is a new beer that might be getting a tweaking. i certainly wont give up on it.
