Zwickel style lager conditioned in a cask. Includes plenty of hausgeschmack for the Stammtisch.

Pours a foggy pale yellow, pillowy white that left gobs of lacing. Aroma of wheat, cracker, grains and lemon zest. Taste follows aromas. It's a bit thin, nicely carbonated. I was not expecting much but this is much better than expected. Terrific beer.

Unreadable "best by" date (sometime in 2023); drank 5/1/23 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange/yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge off-white head; strong, frothy lace remained.
Sweet corn, soft wheat & faint pine notes in the nose.
Soft medium mouthfeel.
Soft wheat, sweet corn & mild lemon flavors.
Fluffy & enjoyable; I'd have another!

Pale gold clear body with a sudsy white head and thick lacing. Love the lacing, body doesn't appear like most zwickel I have had. Good musty grains, wheat, lemon zest, biscuit, and hay make up the nose. Taste is much the same, more bready than biscuit, earthy hops appear on the end of the sip. Feel is bright and light at first, but the grains give it some character, carbonation while decent is appropriate. Highly drinkable, nice for warm spring days

12 oz can into a pilsner glass. Clear pale golden color with a sudsy white head that quickly receded to a thin film. Smells of fresh cut grass and lemon citrus. Taste follows, with a mild hop bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste. Buttery smooth mouthfeel with just a little twang of carbonation to cut through. A very refreshing session lager.
