Draft sample, thanks to Thomas for the tip.

Pale hazy gold, thin collar of drippy lacing. Looks unfiltered.

Aroma is grainy, I always get popcorn kernels from Zwickls and this is no exception.

Taste is similarly grainy, noticeable yeast presence, and a slightly medicinal hop character that I don't get in the standard Flywheel. Light bodied though also more substantial than the standard issue Flywheel. Overall good to try and compare, I've been looking to try this since last year, though ultimately it's pretty basic in general.

Brewed exclusively for Bav Lodge in Lisle which is where I drank this one. Served in a dimpled mug.
Slightly cloudy light golden yellow in color. Served with a thin white head that is very stable and barely reduces any. Leaves some very light lacing. Aroma is good: very bready with a slight lemon quality. Taste is heavy on the toast with lots of sourdough and yeast in the mix. Virtually no bitterness. Light bodied.
Overall a good beer, very drinkable. Can't say I am overly familiar with the style, having had only one other zwickl in the past, with the other one being the superior beer.
