Genova 26/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from Enoteca Bonanni, Via San Vincenzio, Genova. Light brown label with dark brown letters stating the name of Brewery and beer.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet and malty with a spicy streak and some sour grains peeking in. Caramel and toffee. Vanilla and citrus. Touch of moldy cellar.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Rosso with a interesting demonstration of exotic malts.
