Mind Meld II. Had this last year in the first edition but evidently I didn't take notes.

A - Nice brown hue with a little amber shining through. Beer looks great with a nice head on it, white and offsets the body in a very visually satisfying way.

S - Hops and bread come to mind. You can sense that this is the best of both worlds.

T - Initially you are hit with the hops. I anticipated the hops to be similar to the house IPA but was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't overly citrus or pine at all. Can't really put my finger on the hop profile. As this goes down you really get the bread and earthy feel of the beer - finishes great.

M - Medium body and carbonation.

O - One of my favorite seasonal offerings. As I remember this is better than the first batch a year ago. I could drink three or so of these, that goes a lot to say as I usually can only handle IPA's in doses of one or maybe two.

Appearance: Hazed, darkened amber body topped with a playfully frothy, lasting, off-white head.

Smell: Lightly earthy aroma of toasty malts and brown sugar giving way to underlying pithy, citrusy, grassy hop notes.

Taste: The mix of malts largely taste of oven-toasted bread crusts sprinkled with a light layering of table sugar and brown sugar. Pithy, citrusy hop character beset by a slight, encompassing grassiness. Moderate bitterness. Drying, bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Fairly smooth mouthfeel.

Drinkability: Mind Meld is a rather well done hopped up brown. Another tasty, enjoyable brew from Terminal BrewHouse.
