Dark brown color with mocha head. Roasty, coffee like aroma with a hint of dark fruits. Taste is also coffee forward with just a hint of smokiness, or more exactly ashy. Aftertaste has quite bitter roasty notes. Body is quite light for an imperial stout but this makes the beer very drinkable. Alcohol is also well hidden. Overall this was a very nice surprise as I was not expecting such a well made beer.

Beer bottle (33 cl.), purchased in Bière & Chope and tasted in 2011.

Appearance : black color, with tan foamy head.
Smell : roasted and coffee aromas.
Taste and mothfeel : roasted flavours, with hints of coffee, bitterness is felt then.
Drinkability : a good beer near the style Imperial Stout. Anosteke means 'the next time"
