Bottled and botanically brewed
So it has the .5 alcohol content
So I'm reviewing it not as a beer but as a soft fizzy, or as the Americans say soda pop &
It's been mostly reviewed by AmericanI guess this is the UK equivalent or root beer though not as tart
As a D&B it is excellent

Sampled back on 1/5/16. Comes in a 275ml (9.3 ounce) bottle that looks like a old style beer bottle but clear with some embossing. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a thumb-print handled glass.
Pours close to a 'root beer' in color with a very small off-white head. Not much lacing is seen. Aroma has lots going on with it with herbs and spices. Pretty much can be said for the taste. Not like the traditional root beer by any means. strange but different in a good day. Lighter-side of medium-bodied with good carbonation. Overall, I liked it and is something totally different.

Its seriously alcoholic dandelion and burdock, strictly for fabs if that soda. I had small quantities and it was exactly what it said it would be, dont think i could put a few of these away at a time though.

250mL bottle, no date, poured into a shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Clear purple to ruby red color. No lacing or foam at all.
Smell: Licorice, bubblegum, banana, clove. Smells like a licorice spiked hefeweizen, but without the grain aroma.
Taste: Very unusual. Licorice again, along with some clove/banana/bubblegum flavors, and some herbal/woody notes.
Mouthfeel: Soda-like, but not excessively fizzy. Very sticky on the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: So the bottle says botanically brewed, but I'm not sure it's really a beer - I think it's more of a soda with some alcohol in it that came along with the dandelion and burdock infusions that were added to the soda base. Maybe....just maybe....you could argue its a combination of a low alcohol beer and an herbal/spiced beer. It's good and interesting as a soda, but I'd hesitate to call it a beer, and I'm not sure I'd buy it again.
