Typical belgian yeast aroma leaning towards phenolic but also fruity esters, nice bisquite malts to balance
Taste follows nose. The spicy phenolic character carries it through from the sweet malt beginning to the slightly bitter and dry ammoniak finish.
Plenty carbonation
A great Blonde, that I found in French supermarket. What a nice surprise.

330 ml bottle, as Larché Thomas Becket Blonde de Bourgogne, now available in Norway at Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6.5%. Pale golden / blonde ale, slightly hazy, with a huge white head. Lovely strong aroma of fruits and spices (cloves and coriander?). The flavour is distinctly citrussy, followed by spicy notes and a moderate hoppy bitterness. Fairly crisp and dry. Refreshing and very pleasant to drink.

Beer bottle (33 and 75 cl.), tasted in 2003.
Appearance : golden blond color, pretty bubbly with white foamy head.
Smell : floral aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : sweet taste of malt, enhanced with touch of honey, a slight bitter finish.
Drinkability : a good beer in the style Belgian blond ale (bottle-fermented with honey).
