Międzywodzie 30/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from local pizza joint (making terrible pizzas by the way). Proud brown eagle on the label. “Strong taste” is the tagline.
Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing.
The beer is served extremely cold so there is almost no odor at first. As the beer warms up a malty sweetness peeks in. Light sourness - a bit citric.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery lively texture.
Flavor is extremely watery and thin Light sweetness followed by a light, sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly.
Another thin pale lager. They ought to reconsider their tagline. “Wyrazisty smak”.

Clear golden color with a big foamy head that quickly disappears. Sweet, malty aroma. Taste is empty and watery. Light body. Not much is going on here.

Reviewing again after many more years of beer drinking experience.
Bottle has an eagle on, looks kind of unique. Aroma is super heavy malt, with subtle hops. Quite dark for a pilsner...looks super heavy and definitely not refreshing. Aroma reminds me of a mocne or super budget extra strong French beer.
Taste is also like a mocne beer, yet it's 5% and not at all mocne. 5% shows that this is not organic, but mass produced according to profit. If it was 5.2%, maybe it would be organic.
This is cheap for sure. Yet it's super heavy and not at all refreshing. It's not mocne. Hops are completely overshadowed by the heavy malt and caramel taste. Not a fan.
