500ml bottle as a gift from Krakow, Poland:
Started very well thanks to the very strong & sweet smell with lots of caramel & sugar; great considering I expected a pale lager when opening the bottle. Things faded slightly come the taste though, the beer wasn't quite as pronounced with the sweet malts & caramel coming through slightly weaker than before & the body of the beer proving to be a lot lighter than I'd anticipated. There was still enough to keep me interested though thanks to the background fruits, sticky sweetness & earthy malts that featured throughout. Overall the beer was a good one but I couldn't help wondering what might have been had it not faded to dramatically come the taste; it was still a decent beer though.
