This a gem of a place near the Schloss in the old town. Try to make time to stop by here after the sobering experience of the Dachau Concentration Camp. It's a very typical German type place: not too well lit, lots of wood paneling, and plenty of booths and tables. Nice decor with old paintings, antlers and hops strung along the walls. Only drawback was the pop-music playing on the radio... Service was attentive and helpful, and the biers on tap were a Helles, Pils and a Marzen. They also have a guest Dunkel as well as both Hell and Dunkel Franziskaner Weizen in bottles. Prosit!!
