Tap at the brewpub
Pours a dark brown, basically opaque black but with a slight light penetration around the edges. Tan film for a head.
Smells of strong, fresh vanilla and caramel malts.
Flavor is of coffee, hazelnut, walnut, vanilla, and cream.
Medium body with tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Very nice porter that favors a milk stout in some ways. Very good aroma. Wish there was a little more to the body, but otherwise solid.
