From old, undated notes. Had this on draft.

Light orange color, very see-through.

Nice head; amazing lacing. A wall of lace you can't even smudge with your finger!

Smells of high grade marijuana; no joke.

Flavor is of bitter grapefruit; no sweetness in sight.

Too bitter and unbalanced for me, but I'm sure many hop-heads would rejoice.

This beer is weird and I do not like it. I really can't put my finger on what I'm tasting, but it really tastes like some weird Indian spice. Maybe there are hints of licorice or caramel or nutmeg or something else. I don't know. All in all, however, it comes together to create a really jarring experience for my tastebuds... like citrus, Indian spice, pumpkin pie

Enjoyed 12 oz. on tap at Beer Revolution here in Calgary. A hazy golden yellow with a single finger of creamy white foam that leaves a nice sheet of lacing down the sides of the tulip.

Aroma is fresh orange and yellow grapefruit juices, starfruit, lemon rind, wet pine needles, a slight nip of sweet herbal licorice. Bright and perky nose is nearly matched by the taste. Deep citrus rind flavor with a notably tartness and a subdued yeasty phenolic funk, grassy as well. Quite bitter yet thin bodied, the malts somewhat biscuit-like and bready but with little in the way of noticeable caramel sweetness. Carbonation on the heavy side. Finishes quite clean after the huge citrus rind beginning, with lingering gooseberry and herbal notes.

Rather refreshing. Somehow blurs the boundary between DIPA and session IPA, which should be two points that do NOT grade into one another on the IPA continuum. Curious.

Nice lingering head over top of some slightly hazy gold. Wet pine smell. A little sweet. Good carbonation. Nice drinking.
