thought this might just be the mountain time, but i remember that being a little hoppier and more flavorful than this one, have i never eaten at a red robin or seen this before? must be not. its not bad, its just super light, without any real lager yeast character to the aroma or flavor, and it has basically no hops, so this is about as minimal as it gets, could basically be a coors light, nothing really coming through as crafty or premium about it in the drinking experience, even if they seem to kind of present it as such. nothing that is except for the overall quality, which is high, this is dialed in from a refinement standpoint, even if the recipe is a sleeper. i mean, you just cant argue that this isnt well made, because it is. bone dry, a little watery sure, but the ferment is patient and tidy and complete, and there are no flaws here at all, or they would be exposed. excellent carbonation too, and finishing briskness, refreshing, especially with their heavy fry forward food in here, i think a fine compliment to most of it, and it doesnt warm up too bad either. nothing special, but underrated on here for sure...

on tap at RR seved in a mug
golden clear with thick white froth, very good retention. The lace sticks and carbonion rises quickly to the cream.
Smell has a faintly grainy aroma sweet like cereal yet mild aroma in general.
The feel is very good gently sweet yet fully carbonated and clean with hint of adjunct texture but dry finish
The taste is good but mild with low malt sweetness mainly yeast which is not too fruity and smooth with no hop as is appropriate for the style a mostly dry finish yet a slight adjunct addition in flavor is apparent.
Overall this is a drinkable lager that goes well with a cheesy burger and fries but underwhelming on its own perhaps

A perfectly inoffensive, mild - bordering on bland - American lager. An excellent “craft” alternative to any of the macro lagers on tap. It’s a forgettable beer, but it’s enjoyable for what it is.

Pours a pale yellow with a white head that quickly dissipates.
Smells of grain, lemon, and a slight floral note.
Taste is mild grain with @ lemon hop flavor. A very middle of the road beer.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance - The beer is served clear golden color with a small white head.
Smell-The smell is light with a bit of bread and caramel.
Taste - The taste begins with a light caramel and bready taste with a touch of harvest fruit. As the taste advances some more sweet caramel and a bit of bready taste comes to the tongue and leaves one with a slightly sweetened lager taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is average. For the style the feel is good and makes for a easy drinking brew.
Overall - An Ok lager with a slightly sweeter taste. Ok, but nothing too exceptional.

Great choice with a burger and onion rings. $3 22 oz draft during happy hour. Looks, smells, and tastes as a lager. Not a light beer in any sense. I recommend this beer if you are in the mood for a good lager.

Nothing super special about this beer but there is something to be said about doing a style well and this is what happened here. Decent head and even some lacing, good flavor with no aftertaste. Well done.
