12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left subtle lacing. It smelled of orange, mango and guava with some caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Look...Light copper with a medium carbonation with a white foam head. Pieces of suspended yeast i assume(shit). Never really a fan of that. A little sediment maybe not floaties.
Smell...Light hint of melon and tangerine and hop dankness. Not offensive and not a distraction just not an attraction.
Taste...Explosive melon orange mango with a good delivery of dryness, crispness, and goodness to deliver as a favorable flavor
Feel...interwoven for me on appearance it is a slight discount but does have a sticky feel but very easy to drink. Appropriate carbonation and lacing with a full feel
Overall...This is a really tasty beer. I think I had to discount on appearance. New Belgium needs to loosen up and date
their cans. The Best before is Shit in my opinion . Let me decide. Anyway i believe that age is the reason for my floaties so it pisses me off. I believe this to be a very good beer but wish I new the age....I never usually downgrade on the overall but I feel I have to because of those obvious distractions on best buy date and floaties

New Belgium Brewing Co. "Voodoo Ranger Starship IPA"

Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a very hazy golden body with visible particulate in suspension. The head is an inch or so of rocky white foam. The aroma isn't really that bold but it's decent and includes notes of tropical fruits and pine resin. On to the taste... it's definitely different from what the aroma suggests, and much more fruity. I'm finding passionfruit, tangerine, peach, herbs, soft pine, a touch of spiciness, and just a little bit of melon. The malt is sweetish and bready with just a touch of oat-like flavor. I don't think they've used any wheat in this one which makes me question how they got it so hazy. The malt, however, works really well with the hops they've chosen. A median bitterness balances it really well, and although it is sweetish up front that bitterness step right in without being too much. I'm going to guess 50 IBUs on this one. It finishes mostly dry with some of the fruity (lots of peach here) and bready sweetness fading to leave herbs, pine, and a touch of spiciness. The alcohol is well cloaked but at 7.7% ABV it should be. In the mouth it's medium bodied and smooth with a moderate carbonation and lots of extra proteins. The head held up well and I'm almost completely through the glass at this point but I still have a 75% solid surface covering, and a lot of very nice lacing throughout the glass. I find it remarkably easy to drink and think it could be a little dangerous at 7.7%. I was planning on having a few of these while grilling and hanging out with friends later but I think I'll opt for the V.R. Xperimental IPA which is a little lighter at 6.6%. I wasn't expecting much from this one based on the aroma but the flavor and balance are great.

Beautiful golden straw color with a fair amount of haze and a creamy white head that CLINGS to the glass. A beautiful hazy. The nose has the ubiquitous citrus notes Galaxy hops are noted for, with passion fruit and grapefruit most prominent.

The taste is led by the passion fruit, and the grapefruit is also present, with a bit of malt for good measure. The mouthfeel is medium and a bit on the softer side.

This is easy to drink, which is admirable given the 7.7% ABV, but it is a bit “by the numbers,” because there’s nothing that really stands out - it checks boxes, but not enough to make you think, “Wow, I’ve gotta find more of this.”

12oz can with a best by date of 5-1-22. Opened 3-18-22.
2+ finger head, barely off-white. Great retention and sticky lacing. Yellow-gold body and hazy. Mango and orange citrus nose with a light creamy or almost buttery note as it sits. Not much going on, a bit of citrus and a bit of stone fruit - fairly non-descript. Medium body, soft mouthfeel with a touch of citrus peel bitterness. Some heat and sweetness in the finish. Okay.

Golden with heavy chill haze, huge white head, great retention and lacing
Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, pineapple juice, passionfruit
Wheaty malt, tame tropical fruit hop flavors, next to no bitterness. A big letdown from the smell
Medium bodied with wheaty feel, lower carbonation
Such a big drop from in front of the face to inside the head
