12 oz.can.
It pours a hazy, weak yellow but not murky- theres some visibility in the fog.
Nice head of clotted foam formed and slumped quickly to wisps on the surface.
Aroma is hop-fruity but not citrus dominant. Apple and melon notes compliment the tangerine and all that floats above a malt sweetness that hasn't been fermented out.
Flavor is fairly well balanced and again not citrus mid boil hop dominated. Timidly bitter, it drinks more like a pale ale.
Body is on the light side of medium and the finish is short and peppery.

Have to agree with the negative reviews here - this is one of the rare IPA's (or beer of any kind) that I could not finish. I know Belgian beer can be sweet, but to my tongue, this has more in common with a sour or cider. Not just a hint of fruit or citrus - it tastes more like a spiked mango/orange soda than an honest ale. I gave this a few ratings above 2 just to be fair (it smells & looks fine), but thought it was awful.

12oz can shared by a friend, pale straw colored with a foamy head. Fairly strong citrus fruitiness on the nose, not sure if there is a fruit addition in this one or if this is just hops or yeast? Papaya, orange, toasty malt, lemongrass, lots of fruity juice-like characteristics with spritzer-like carbonation.

This is real crappy beer. New Belgium has made terrible changes to their beers...once I drain the 24 pack purchased @ Costco, I will steer clear of New Belgium beer...sad...I used to appreciate Fat Tire, IPA & their attempts @ Belgium style beers. All we can hope for is their leadership is fired.

Smells and tastes like orange/tangerine citrus cotton candy. Not my cup of tea.

Pours a pale yellow. Thick foam. Fruity aroma. Sweet tropical fruit body. Very light bitterness. Goes down easy. Good flavor. Much better than expected.

Heavy citrus. Maybe a bit much? Still very drinkable but perhaps not for the casual IPA drinker. Body is good and mouthfeel is fine.

It's a drinkable IPA but nothing note worthy going on here.

This brew is getting a bit of a bum rap on The Advocate... Really great nose and nice to taste... A bit heavy on the citrus, but overall quite good I think
