12 oz bottle poured into a willi becher glass. This tasted very similar to New Belgium's regular tripel; not much cinnamon at all and just a hint of citrus. I wish I could have had it side-by-side to compare. It has nice Belgian yeast esters with some candi sugar and hides the abv well. Solid.

Pretty good, smooth enough that even my wife liked it. Some yeasty flavors with cinnamon, not too much of a roasted or hoppy character.

Pours clear, straw-colored, with a large rocky head that dissipates rather quickly. The label claims this beer is bottle conditioned, but the skim of yeast residue I'd expect from such a process is absent. Cinnamon dominates the aroma with a touch of coriander. Flavor is cinnamon, coriander and candied banana. Mouthfeel medium. Coriander lingers at the finish.

12oz bottle from their holiday mix pack. Overview: NB's Trippel with the addition of mulling spices. Why? Some basic tripel yeasty notes are there, but it's mostly cinnamon and a touch of orange peel. It does not add anything to this brew. In my opinion, it's a far lesser brew than the original. Thumbs down.

12 oz. bottle, enjoy by AUG 20, 2023. A new one to me from New Belgium, acquired a single bottle as part of a mixed six pack.
Poured to stemless snifter glass.
Pours a strikingly clear golden body; almost pilsner-ish in appearance. Finger of frothy draft-like white head of good retention. Some good random lacing.
Aromas of coriander, cardamom, clove, white pepper. Allspice? Nicely herbal & floral, with just a kiss of alcohol fumes.
It almost attains a juice-like character to begin, but stops just a bit short; the spicy pepper notes from the cinnamon bark extract take over. There is actually quite a bit going on here. Flavors of cola, cinnamon, & white pepper, with a touch of dry bready yeast on the finish. Strangely enough, neither cinnamon or citrus seem to be the dominant flavors here, the base tripel seems to really shine through.
Body is smooth, wet, fluid. Farily-easy drinking stuff for the high abv, medium-full in body.
Overall, an average outing from New Belgium, but nice to try something that isn't a new Voodoo Ranger juice beer.

Sediment and a light scent. Surprisingly good tasting but just not my style. The citrus and hop flavors jel with the clove/cinnamon, both against the sweet malt. Gingerbread aftertaste bogs it down. "You wouldn't want to get sick while drinking that!" - Sue
